The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it really is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional website office committed to service the area daily. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to allow the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
